Loratan games commissioned us to produce marketing artwork and branding
for their upcoming mobile game Lords of Havana.

Working closely with the Loratan developers we decided on a hand drawn style to
match the simple graphics and vintage theme of the game.

Our in-house illustrator set to work producing two custom images of the
games lead protagonist "El Tigre Blanco", a charismatic but deadly drug lord.
Working with a red, white and gold color scheme to emphasize the
characters regal and extravagant persona.

With the games covering multiple protagonists across its story we were also asked
to design two additional characters, A Bonnie and Clyde style pair of addict thieves,
terrorizing the streets of Los Angeles with a no mercy approach to doing business.
In keeping with the games style we kept the hand drawn approach but simplified the
images to plain backgrounds and muted colors.

Finally we were also asked to design the games logo, wanting to keep with the games
vintage and simple designs we kept it simple, using a bold rubber stamp style font,
black and white color scheme and a precise and effective layout incorporating a
military style star and boarder to frame the logo and give it that 1980's Cuban feel.
